Users excited about GreenCommerce Essentials, the new Lite concept of GreenCommerce

JEM-id introduces a new lite concept of GreenCommerce, called GreenCommerce Essentials. GreenCommerce, the standard software package for the fresh produce industry, is mainly known for its larger implementations for companies with 10-250 users.

GreenCommerce Essentials contains a selection of software package GreenCommerce and thus offers users the same quality and reliability for the most used functionalities. Importers, exporters and packers can quickly get started with functionalities that are essential for their organization. GreenCommerce Essentials has been specially introduced for businesses up to 15 users. With the package there is one system in which all commercial activities such as purchasing, sales and logistics activities come together. This creates greater control over the organization and a better overview. The package runs completely in the Cloud, so that no own server is required and work can be done anytime and anywhere.

Why GreenCommerce Essentials?
GreenCommerce mainly focuses on fresh produce companies with 10-250 users. After years of sector experience with satisfied organizations, it was time to offer the most important functionalities of GreenCommerce in an accessible way for companies that want to be flexible in their software choice or have too few users for a responsible on-premise installation. Because GreenCommerce Essentiels consists of a well-considered choice of functionalities, the implementation is also very clear and the turnaround time limited.

Wim Roest (RV Export) has now been working with GreenCommerce for 13 years, starting with GreenCommerce Essentials in 2020 when he started his own company: "We can perform all our activities with the software, from purchasing to administration and invoicing. Within six months, nearly 10 fresh produce companies are now using GreenCommerce Essentials on a daily basis, giving them control over daily business processes. They use functions that mainly have to do with commercial purchasing and sales processes, batch registration, real-time stock, making account sales, financial administration, transport planning and the batch result. From purchasing and sales to real-time stock management and transport planning
Valuable information about commercial activities, such as cost prices, revenues and results in the areas of purchasing, production, transport and sales can be fully explained and viewed at a glance. "For us, GreenCommerce Essentials is a clear package, which allows us to properly register our batches of ginger and garlic. It gives us clarity and insight into, among other things, stocks and costs", says Sander Kleinjan of Sawari Fresh. The package is also user-friendly for Joel Pascual from Cartama Europe. "It helps us with full traceability of the fruit. The advantage of GreenCommerce Essentials is that we have live control over our stocks at any time. With the account sales functionality we can quickly give feedback to our suppliers and we have a real-time overview of the results of each batch." Transport can also be organized efficiently. Via transport plans it is possible to communicate digitally with carriers, while the internal logistics can be controlled via the shipment schedules.

Scalable to grow
The software is purchased on a monthly subscription basis, so there are no initial investments in the software. In addition, the package is highly scalable, so that new users can easily be added as it grows. When an organization has its own warehouse (and server) and / or has many users who work in the software, GreenCommerce.NET is recommended.

Get started quickly without your own server
An advantage over a complex implementation with the exceptions that are so characteristic for the fresh produce industry is that GreenCommerce Essentials can be set up quickly and that users can then get started immediately. JEM-id offers the private cloud together with their partner Blue Coded. Blue Coded is a certified provider with data centers at different locations. The facilities of these data centers are designed to allow users to work quickly and to protect data against leaks, external access, fire and theft. This immediately relieves GreenCommerce Essentials users.
