The roadmap with the associated themes for 2025 has been announced. Each quarter focuses on one or more themes, in which developments will be made for that subject. Within GreenCommerce, we currently lack a complete international VAT processing, but that will change in the second quarter. New developments will ensure that the correct VAT rates are determined based on the movement of goods between various international locations.
Our goal to eliminate paper from the fresh produce warehouse gains more traction with this initiative. In the first quarter, research will focus on identifying the most valuable aspects to address. This includes exploring opportunities for companies using the WMS App and for quality inspectors assessing goods for customer suitability.
A new feature is planned that will allow quality inspectors to make selections/assignments of inventory when assessing goods for customer suitability. This will significantly improve efficiency in communication and logistics.
In the WMS App, we are working on developments to manage internal goods movements. Warehouse staff will be able to handle these instructions directly through the WMS App.
In the first quarter of 2025, new functionalities related to ‘inventory’ will be added to the Customer Portal. By incorporating this feature into the portal, we provide service providers with comprehensive information for their customers.
The Data Warehouse package will be expanded to unlock more data in the dashboards. Additionally, it will become possible to update the data multiple times a day, ensuring that critical information is always available. This opens doors for larger organizations and creates new opportunities for external BI collaborations.
In the second quarter, we will begin setting up environments at customer locations to enhance adoption.
In the last quarter of 2025, the User Interface (UI) of the WMS App will be migrated to the Apps environment. This will make the WMS App an integrated part of the Apps portfolio and give it the same look-and-feel. The WMS App will also become accessible via the Apps dashboard.
We are making preparations to upgrade the underlying technology of GreenCommerce to the most reliable version. This technology offers benefits in terms of security and further development. This year will focus on research and preparations.
