The highlights of 2023: the most important projects at a glance
The last month of the year 2023 has arrived. December is the month in which many things will be finalized or prepared for the new year. To end the year well, in this update we look back on the most important projects of 2023.
1. Extensions in the WMS App with regard to the GLOBALGAP Chain of Custody (CoC)
Within GreenCommerce, the CoC certification has gotten an important spot in several screens. Extensions can be found in purchasing, sales, production and shipment, provided that CoC functionalities are used.
By introducing the CoC certification within GreenCommerce, additional insight has also been created into the WMS App. Read in the update what developments have been made.
2. GreenCommerce Apps: introduction Transport App and Insights App
The Transport App focuses on the easy processing of incoming and outgoing goods flows for companies based on batch registration. By digitizing various processes via an App, the paper receipt is completely eliminated from the processes. With the Transport App, fresh produce companies are taking a great step towards working paperless.

The Insights App is intended to display important information about logistics progress on (large) digital displays. This means that employees on the floor and third parties, such as drivers, are always informed of changes and progress. This allows companies to take the next step towards paperless working while raising internal information to a higher level. Read more about the Insights App.
3. Link with FreshProduce Centre ensures efficient reporting of export statistics
Since January 2023, FreshProduce Centre has taken over the export statistics from the Quality Control Bureau (KCB). A new Export Statistics System has been developed for this purpose, with which weekly data can be supplied digitally. A link has been created with FreshProduce Centre, making it possible for GreenCommerce users to easily and accurately manage and supply data via the software package. 4. Generating the ideal pallet structure: Task-driven work
At the beginning of 2023, a project group from TU Delft started research into the optimal structure of mixed pallets. Reliance is placed on the knowledge of experienced employees, but this does make it difficult to transfer knowledge. To further shape the research within the existing application, Paul continued working on the project. Read about the latest developments in this update.
5. DC Zwaagdijk of Growers United fully digitalized through collaborations with jem-id, Viscon and Aweta
After a number of successful projects and a long collaboration with Growers United, the PapriCo location in Zwaagdijk also indicated at the beginning of this year that it wanted to start with GreenCommerce. After a number of months of preparations, new developments and connections with machine manufacturers Viscon and Aweta, the software went live within the pre-agreed schedule. Implementing this impact requires extremely close collaboration with all parties involved. The maximum effort from all parties has ensured the great success of this collaboration.
