Send online price lists from GreenCommerce

For some time now it has been possible to create price lists from GreenCommerce that can be sent to one customer at a time. Often these lists are sent by e-mail to multiple recipients, where all prices are stated with the articles. A price list applies to a period that you can set yourself and contains customer-specific prices for all articles that you offer to a customer.

A big disadvantage when sending price lists is that they cannot be up-to-date because of the way they are shared with customers, e.g. by email, PDF or as an Excel file. Subsequently, the supplier receives completed price lists via all kinds of channels, such as mail, chat, by telephone or via a photo. This creates unnecessary work and frustration because price lists are no longer up to date due to changes. How nice would it be if these price lists could be completed online, making the entire sales process less time-consuming?

We think there is a great opportunity here to make the sales process more efficient. By making the price lists available online as an order form, orders can be placed immediately as soon as a buyer has entered the desired quantities.

How does that work?
In the first instance, the supplier shares a link (URL) with the desired customer, which is then referred to the online order form where the offered items and prices of the supplier are stated. The online price list will contain more information than the current price lists that are sent by mail, partly because buyers can complete their orders immediately and changes are immediately visible. This ensures that the supplier gains immediate insight when a buyer fills his shopping cart, and can therefore save a lot of time with this information.

This keeps the ordering process transparent for supplier and buyer, without completely overhauling the current sales process. Are you also connected to FreshBabel Messenger? Then it is possible to receive the order directly in your own system after the products have been ordered. This applies to both buyer and supplier.

The screen above shows the current price list function in GreenCommerce. A check mark to share the price lists online has recently been added. This check mark is visible to every user who is over on the J-release and has access to the price list function.
