New developments in WMS ELMO
Business processes in a fresh produce warehouse are often still traditionally structured. Paper pick lists, order tickets and to-do lists are often used to organize the order picking process in a warehouse. We have developed the ELMO order picking application especially for GreenCommerce users. With ELMO, the order picking process in a warehouse is fully automated, whereby changes and feedback can be passed on to the staff in the warehouse or office in real-time. This ensures a faster and easier way of working, without the need for paper during the order picking process.
New developments in ELMO
To further optimize the order picking process in a fresh produce warehouse, a number of new developments have been implemented in ELMO:
Create active construction pallet
For shipping picklists, a new function to create or select active contruction pallets has been added. Previously, when an order picker wanted to make a mixed pallet, there were a number of steps that had to be completed in the system. With the functionality for active construction pallets in ELMO, the construction of mixed pallets has become a lot faster, making the order picking process even faster!
Important info
- When a construction pallet is active, you can pick products to this pallet faster.
- You can record one active construction pallet per pick list. Your construction pallet is remembered as soon as you leave the screen so that you can easily continue later.
- When adding a new (empty) pallet to a pick list, it is automatically activated as a construction pallet.
Better insight into the picking of fust
In addition to product, it is also necessary for production to move the correct numbers of raw materials such as fust and material for the machines.
With the new tab “Packaging” in ELMO, this is immediately visible to order pickers from this update. Would you like to have this active? Please contact us so that we can enable this for you.
Note: This only applies to elements with fust registration on.
