Control over financial flows with the new accounts receivable management
In recent months, several developments have been made to enhance accounts receivable management in GreenCommerce. Since the Cherry release, periodic updates have been implemented in subsequent versions. With the next release being a mandatory version, this article summarizes the key features of the new accounts receivable management system. Through this article, we aim to provide a comprehensive overview of the capabilities of accounts receivable management in GreenCommerce.
New level in relationship master data
The new accounts receivable management introduces an additional level in the relationship master data. Customers and invoice relationships can now be managed collectively under debtors with this enhancement.
Outstanding items at two levels
A new screen has been introduced for viewing outstanding items at the debtor level. Outstanding items can now be accessed at both the invoice relationship and debtor levels when using accounts receivable management.
In this screen, several new columns can be added, such as insights into the risk profile and any imposed blocks. Through icons and colored dots next to the risk profile, it is immediately clear where action is required.
New filter: with Exposure
A new checkbox filter, 'with Exposure', has been added to the open items screens. When this is checked, only relationships with an Exposure amount (the amount exceeding the insured amount) greater than 0 are displayed. This provides immediate insight into debtors who exceed the insured amount.
In this screen, the outstanding items per period are also directly visible. For example, it is immediately clear which amount has been outstanding for more than 30, 60, or 90 days.
Filter on invoice relationship(s) in the debtor card
The debtor card now displays an overview of the debtor and linked invoice relationships. In this screen, you can easily filter by invoice relationship and find the corresponding information. This view automatically adjusts during filtering. Within the debtor card, it is possible to assign a risk profile and a credit manager to the debtor. Additionally, at a glance, you can see the credit per invoice relationship and whether there are any overdue payments.
Information and registration for credit managers
Credit managers can use the debtor card to store specific notes and files. This can facilitate communication between credit managers and serve as a dossier for the debtor.
With these new tools, all information related to the credit status of a debtor is centrally recorded. All relevant attachments can be linked and are only visible to employees with the appropriate permissions.
Sales block
Within the debtor card, it is now possible to financially block the debtor and their associated relationships, as well as block them from placing new sales orders. This is immediately visible in the outstanding invoices screen through icons. When a debtor is blocked from placing new sales orders, a notification is displayed during the creation of a new order, and the option is disabled.
Manage insurances and limits at the debtor level
Manage credit insurances and credit limits at the debtor level and gain insight into the financial status via the new dashboard. With the addition of an extra debtor level, credit insurances and credit limits can be matched one-on-one with agreements made with insurers.
In the relationship management, it can be indicated that a debtor works with split credit insurances per invoice relationship. In the "Debtor Credits" screen, this is then broken down per invoice relationship, and the ratio can be determined.
Accounts receivable management requires additional configuration work because a new level needs to be added to the relationship. Contact us for a complete overview of the possibilities.
