Tips for a great start in GreenCommerce
Within GreenCommerce, various shortcuts and smart keys have been developed to help you navigate the application swiftly. With a few useful keyboard combinations, using the mouse often becomes a thing of the past. The more you use them, the more indispensable they become. Do you know them all already?
Switching between screens
If you're already familiar with GreenCommerce, you know that you'll often switch between different screens during your work. To do this as quickly as possible, we've developed several shortcuts that require minimal actions.
Quickly navigate to a specific screen
Want to quickly navigate to a specific purchase or sales order? Or are you looking for a specific shipment? With the 'Quick Task' search bar, you can navigate directly to the right screen. Open it by pressing the F6 key. When you use the 'page up' or 'page down' keys, you will see suggestions of codes.
Switching between your open screens
With the ‘Ctrl + Tab’ combination, you can easily switch between your already open screens. This is convenient when you receive a call or need to gather information from different screens. When you use ‘Ctrl + Shift + Tab’, you switch in the opposite direction.
More targeted searching with search and filter settings
The 'Ctrl + F' combination isn't just for your browser or documents—it also works within GreenCommerce! This combination activates an additional search bar in most screens, enabling you to conduct more targeted searches within the application.
Keyboard shortcuts at a glance
When you press the 'Alt' key, all keyboard shortcuts appear at a glance. All shortcuts are underlined when the 'Alt' key is pressed. This way, you have a quick reminder available in every screen.
Opening search fields with magnifying glass icons
Prefer using the keyboard over the mouse? Then the 'F3' shortcut in search input fields with magnifying glass icons is a great one for you. In any input field with a magnifying glass, you can open the pop-up screen by pressing the F3 key.
Built-in calculator in price and quantity fields
Did you know there's a built-in calculator in input fields for price or quantity? Simply start typing in the field with an '=' sign followed by a mathematical operation. Press 'Tab' to complete the calculation, and the result will appear directly in the field. Fast and convenient!
Selection totals: maths for all
In addition to column totals, you can easily see the selection totals for a range of rows and compare them to the column totals. This feature is incredibly useful for quickly summing quantities or prices. Simply right-click on a column header, such as 'Quantity', and select 'Selection totals' from the column chooser that appears.
Customize your dashboard
Gather all your most frequently used screens in one place—your dashboard. Did you know you can customize your dashboard with various shortcuts? Simply right-click and choose the shortcuts that suit you best. Customizing your dashboard allows you to streamline your workflow by placing your most used tools and screens at your fingertips.
