Looking back at 2022: the most important developments at a glance
We are approaching the end of 2022. This year we have been able to create many great developments and projects for the benefit of the roadmap. A roadmap has also been compiled for 2023, which we will announce shortly. Before we look forward to the new year, in this update we take a look at the best developments of 2022.
1. GreenCommerce Apps: more and more customers are using the Apps
Since the arrival of GreenCommerce Apps at the beginning of last year, more and more customers have started using (one of) the Apps. Largely due to the end-of-life of FreshTracker as of January 1st, 2023, the use of the QC App has increased enormously. The QC App is the modern, technically better equipped successor to FreshTracker with at least the same functionalities.
To prepare for the announced phytosanitary controls for export to the UK, new developments have been added in GreenCommerce and the QC App. Curious about these developments? Read more here.
We have also started a pilot of the Production App, with the second phase starting soon. In the second phase, the collected feedback from the first phase will be treated and another group of customers will get started with the App. In this way, as much feedback as possible is collected in a relatively short period of time. Read more about the Production App.
2. Batch splitting, certifications and sales requirements
Quality employees are increasingly dealing with the processing of certifications, also from suppliers and the underlying producers. It is important that this information is presented in a clear manner so that the chance of errors is minimized. New developments in GreenCommerce have been added in collaboration with various customers.
Curious about the possibilities? Read more in this update.
3. New GLOBAL G.A.P. Chain of Custody functionalities
Because certain products can go through an order several times or are booked in different usages, it became challenging to guarantee 100% coverage of the CoC. That is why we have added developments within GreenCommerce with which the tracing of products via GGNs can be made more transparent.
New possibilities have been created in gaining better insight into GGNs during allocation and in stock. Read more in the next update.
4. Distinguish between interchangeable items
Within the fresh produce industry, it is increasingly common for a customer to order a general item where it does not matter which specific item is delivered. The specific items must fall within the specifications of the ordered item. New developments have been added within GreenCommerce and the WMS App, making it easy to differentiate between these 'interchangeable items'. Read more in the next update.
